Terms of Service

Effective August 30, 2026 · Period Plus, LLC
Updated August 30, 2026: shipping now covers individual shop orders as well as boxes (individual orders carry a separate flat shipping charge and an $8.00 minimum); we state a 30-day shipping time and set out your cancel-or-refund rights if we miss it; refunds we owe are no longer described as discretionary and are sent within seven working days with written confirmation; we refund rather than substitute on individual items. Previously updated July 29, 2026: an account and an 18+ confirmation are now required to order; the box-change cutoff follows your arrival window rather than a fixed date; founding credit applies to your first order of either product.

These terms cover your use of periodplus.us and any Period+ subscription or one-time box you buy from us. We've tried to write them in plain language, because terms you can't read aren't really terms.

1. Who we are

Period+ is operated by Period Plus, LLC, a limited liability company organized in Alabama and based in Enterprise, Alabama. In these terms, "we," "us" and "Period+" mean Period Plus, LLC. "You" means the person using our site or buying from us.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. Products intended for a young person — such as a first-period kit — must be purchased by a parent, guardian, or another adult.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account or place an order. When you create your account we ask for your date of birth to confirm this. We rely on what you tell us; we don't check it against an ID. If you're buying for a young person — a first-period kit, for example — that's expected and welcome: the adult places the order and holds the account.

You need an account to check out. Browsing the catalog and prices is open to everyone; only ordering requires signing in. You create your account with an email address and a password, and that email address is how we identify you.

If you forget your password we'll email you a link to set a new one. You can also ask for a one-time sign-in link instead of using a password at all. Either way, keeping access to your email address secure is how you keep your account secure — anyone who can read your email can request a sign-in link or a password reset.

Please keep your email address and shipping address current. We're not responsible for boxes delivered to an out-of-date address you gave us.

3. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Please read this part carefully

Period+ subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel. When you subscribe:

The price you'll be charged each month is shown to you before you complete checkout, and again in your account.

Our current recurring plans are The Statement and Statement+. Each includes a set number of sealed, name-brand product packs that you choose, plus one item we choose (we call it Our Pick). Choosing higher-tier packs increases your monthly price; the exact amount is shown before you confirm.

We also sell one-time boxes that do NOT renew: The Flight (a $20 sampler, with the full $20 credited toward your first subscription box if you go on to subscribe) and The Opening Statement (a $50 first-period gift kit with fixed contents, no subscription required). Buying either one does not start a subscription and will never result in a recurring charge. If a one-time purchase includes credit toward a future subscription, we say so at the time and email you the code.

4. Changing your box

You can change which packs are in your upcoming box from your account until shortly before we pack it. Your cutoff depends on the arrival window you chose — we pack a few days before your box is due to arrive, so a box arriving early in the month has an earlier cutoff than one arriving late. Your account page always shows your exact date, and we email you a reminder beforehand. After the cutoff your box is locked, and changes you make apply to the following month.

Once we've placed that month's product order, later changes are limited to packs we already have in stock — we can't promise a pack we didn't buy. Your account will tell you if a pack isn't available for that month.

If your new selections change your monthly price, the new price takes effect on your next billing date — we don't charge or credit you mid-cycle for a swap.

If a pack you've chosen becomes unavailable, we'll substitute a comparable product of equal or greater value in the same category, or contact you.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel any time, with no fee and no phone call, from your account page or the billing portal we link to there. You can also simply email us and we'll do it for you.

Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the current period you've already paid for — you'll receive the box you paid for, and then nothing further will be charged.

6. Founding reservations

Before launch we offered a $5 founding reservation. If you paid one:

7. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where we're required to collect it, based on your delivery address. Some states exempt menstrual products from some or all sales tax; where that applies, we don't charge the exempt portion.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your saved payment method for your subscription until you cancel.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you to update your payment method. If it keeps failing, we may pause or cancel your subscription.

We may change our prices. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we'll email you before it takes effect so you can decide whether to continue.

8. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. Everything goes out by USPS Ground Advantage, and we email you tracking the day your parcel leaves us.

What shipping costs

Subscription boxes and one-time boxes: shipping is included in the price shown. The Statement, Statement+ and The Opening Statement all arrive with no separate shipping charge.

Individual items from our shop work differently. Orders of single packs and care items carry a flat shipping charge, always shown to you at checkout before you pay. It's the same whether you order one pack or ten, and there's no order size that makes it free. Individual orders also have an $8.00 minimum, because below that the picking, packing and postage cost more than the order does.

How long it takes

We ship every order within 30 days — and here's why we say 30

Period+ is new, and we buy most things in once you've ordered them. We're not sitting on a warehouse. Your order comes in, we order from our supplier, it comes to us here in Enterprise, and we pack it and send it on to you. Some items — a lot of our care items in particular — are flagged by our supplier as taking longer to reach us than the pads and tampons do.

We could promise you three days and be wrong a lot. Instead: we will ship your order within 30 days of the day you place it. Most orders go out sooner than that, and we email you tracking the moment yours does.

If we can't ship inside 30 days, you hear from us before those 30 days are up — not after, and not only if you chase us. See If we're running late, just below.

Subscription boxes and arrival windows

Your first box ships the month after you subscribe. When you sign up you choose a three-day arrival window — the 1st–3rd, 8th–10th, 15th–17th or 22nd–24th — and your first box is aimed at that window in the following month. We name the month before you pay, and again in your welcome email and on your account page. After that, a box goes out every month you're subscribed.

Arrival windows. We ship so your box lands inside your window. Carriers quote two to five days, so we're aiming at your window, not guaranteeing a date — a delivery running a day or two outside it isn't a failed order, and we'll help you track anything that goes missing. We ship each month's boxes after that month's cutoff.

If we're running late

Federal law gives you specific rights when a shop takes your money and then can't ship on time. We'd rather write them out plainly than hope you never need them.

If we can't ship your order within 30 days of when you placed it — or within any shorter time we told you at the time you ordered — then before that deadline passes we will email you with:

If you don't reply. Where the new date we give you is 30 days or less past the original one, and you don't tell us otherwise, we'll take that as you being willing to wait — and we'll say so in the email, so it's never a surprise. Where the new date is more than 30 days later, or we can't give you a date at all, your order cancels itself and we refund you 30 days after the original deadline — unless it has already shipped by then, or you've told us you'd like us to carry on.

If we then miss the new date too, we write again with the same choice — and that time, silence means cancel. We won't hold your money against a date we keep moving.

Damaged, lost or wrong

If your order arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all, tell us and we'll make it right — normally by replacing it, or refunding it if you'd rather. Please contact us within 30 days of the date your order was due.

9. Returns and refunds

For health and hygiene reasons, we can't accept returns of opened period products. That's true of subscription boxes and individual items alike.

If something's wrong with your order, we fix it. If a pack arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, we'll replace it or refund it — your choice. Contact us within 30 days of the date your order was due. You won't pay return postage on anything that was our mistake, and usually we won't ask you to send it back at all.

Changed your mind? Unopened items in their original condition can come back to us within 30 days of delivery for a refund of what you paid for them. Return postage is on you, and on a change-of-mind return we can't refund the original shipping charge. Email us first so we can tell you where to send it.

Refunds we owe you are not up to us

If we cancel an order because we couldn't ship it, the refund isn't at our discretion and you don't have to ask for it. You get back everything you paid for that order, shipping included.

We send it within seven working days, back to the card you paid with, through Stripe — and we email you when we do it, with the date and the amount, so you're not left watching your statement wondering whether it happened.

If we can't get something you ordered, we refund it — we don't quietly send you something else instead. If we think a substitute would suit you, we'll ask you first and you decide. (Subscription boxes work differently, and you agree to it when you subscribe: if a pack you chose becomes unavailable we may substitute a comparable product of equal or greater value in the same category — see section 4.)

Cancelling a subscription is a different thing from a refund. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't refund a month you've already paid for — you'll get that box, and then nothing further is charged. There's no cancellation fee, and you never have to talk to anyone to stop a subscription. See section 5.

10. About the products

Period+ sells sealed, unopened retail packs from established manufacturers. We don't open, repack, or alter them — you receive them exactly as the manufacturer sealed them, inside our box.

We are an independent retailer. Tampax, Always, Playtex, Stayfree, Carefree, U by Kotex and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. Period+ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting as an agent of any of these brands or their manufacturers. We simply resell their genuine products, and we identify them by name so you know exactly what you're getting.

Product availability, packaging and formulations are controlled by the manufacturers and can change without notice.

11. Health and safety

Period+ does not provide medical advice. Nothing on our site, in our emails, or in our boxes is a substitute for guidance from a doctor or other qualified health professional.

Always read and follow the manufacturer's instructions and warnings on each product. Tampons in particular carry a risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) — a rare but serious condition. The manufacturer's insert explains the warning signs and correct use. If you have symptoms of TSS, or any adverse reaction to a product, stop using it and seek medical attention.

If you have a medical condition, allergy, or sensitivity, check the manufacturer's ingredient and material information before use.

12. Period+ Gives

A portion of every order goes into Period+ Gives, our fund for getting period products to people who can't afford them.

To be straight with you about how this works: it's a fixed contribution per box into a fund we then deploy — as donated product, donated subscriptions, or money — to organizations serving people in need. It is not a one-for-one promise: we don't claim that your box causes exactly one box to be given. We'll report what the fund has done rather than ask you to take our word for it.

13. Reviews and messages

If you submit a review, you're giving us permission to publish it (with your first name or initials, not your email address) on our site and in our marketing. We review submissions before publishing and may decline to publish, or remove, anything that's abusive, off-topic, unlawful, or not a genuine experience with our products. We won't edit the substance of your opinion to make it more flattering.

Please don't submit anything you don't have the right to share, and please don't include other people's personal information.

14. Limits on our liability

We provide our site and products with reasonable care, but we don't guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Period Plus, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that can't be limited by law — including rights relating to products that are defective or unsafe. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes. We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we'll email active subscribers and update the effective date above. Continuing to use Period+ after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, unless the law entitles you to bring it where you live.
